Therefore, I'm pre-disposed to believe that they can do it again. ......as AOL goes for the middle road, elnk might benefit by lopping off people in small business--free web site, etc. could be plus. ......lots of folks that want consistent access find AOL to be a problem. i personally like ATT for that reason--NEVER had trouble getting on. .......a friend really likes elnk and i think that i might switch over at some time. .......that being said i agree with you. the size of the advertising market in ISP is huge and some company may scoop up ELNK if they don't scoop up others. .......also occasionally look at mindspring--but not closely ......unlike microsoft--there is much less barrier to entry in this field and i could see 2-3 big providers in 5 years--AOL will be under siege. they will thrive but they will not be alone!
