Talked to my friend who's looking for house. He won't buy Lawrence or Lynn and won't even think about NH. 1 hour commute is a no-no for him.

Yes, there are people who commute 1-2 hours each way. I cannot understand how they manage.

My bro in law is a programmer and works for a software company in Boston's northern suburbs. I'll ask my sister how long his commute is.
