Because compared to their money Obama's inflated dollar has become as close to true fiat currency one can ever come - before it becomes trash. When the fire men takes over to clean up the US mess years from now, your personal DUSD ( domestic USD) will be paper only, while the real USD will be owned by foreigners only - by law. Or something like that. Those, who like you, bet their future on US T-Bonds will become very sorry and very poor indeed. My US friends right now own gold only, bullion as well as coins.
