I give Obama a 55% chance of winning. He's very likeable. I like him. In addition, he's a superb debater. With 4 years in the White House, he's going to have a better grasp and articulation of his policy positions than Romney. Obama will have more depth to his opinions and facts. In addition, he will come across as less stuffy and more of a people's person when standing side by side with Romney. They are both good looking people and tall, so no advantage to either side on that point.

Anyway, regardless of who I want to win, this is going to be a fun and fair match, with great dividing lines. The Obama McCain match was like watching a World Cup team play a college team. Obama wiped the floor with McCain. However, the Obama-Romney match will be two powerhouses clashing with clear policy differences. Can't wait to see it. I hope the debates aren't full of trite soundbites and softball questions.

You know what I'd like to see? An unmoderated debate, where they put Obama and Romney in a room and let them simply talk to each other. No rules, no outside questions, no holds barred. Two hours to talk to each other. We'd really get to see the real people then. It would be great. Kind of like when Abraham Lincoln debated the other guy...and no one now remembers the other guy. :) There was a reason for that. Abraham was the better man and didn't need to rely on a moderator to hide behind. Today's politicians are wimps in comparison.
