If the lawyers don't get paid, the judge is out of a job, the debtors are out of business, and the creditors are out of luck. Paying the lawyers won't worry the DIP lenders, but not paying them will worry everyone, especially the lawyers. So the lawyers will be paid; it's an unwritten law.
