It does appear that CompUSA outlets (Actually 151 locations plus corporate offices in each region) got some limited number to start with. Don't forget other stores and mailorder companies, like Tiger Software, also got their share as well to make up the 40,000 copies. Keep in mind they can make more and IMHO this will be a big seller for YEARS, and not just at Christmas, as more Elvis fans discover it or finally get a CD Rom player.
Yes, its only one title but that's more revenue that TMM has seen in a long, long time and they won't need your money for phone bills anymore. Matter of fact, if all TMMI holders call 1-800-COMPUSA this morning and order some Virtual Graceland CDs, then maybe they will need to do another CD production run even sooner.
I also don't think we need hundreds of titles to be successful. Its a small company. Issuing one average selling title each month would generate about 2 million dollars a year in revenues (12 titles x $ 4 profit each x 40,000 copies). 5 times revenue would be reasonably conservative for a valuation here, so 10 million dollars divided by 100 million shares = 10 cents per share estimated value on the CDs alone.
That's only the CD title part of the business. The Trudef technology will creep into other company's products as we are seeing with Stellar Solutions (who is very anxious to do more business with TMM when Tom gets time!!!).
Tom has also reported he is working on a 2 million dollar a year (if my memory is correct) project for an unnamed company.
Tom has not lead us wrong yet. The timing of news has been out of his hands, for reasons known by some but because this is a public company, these reasons can't always be posted here.
And as pointed out by Johnny and others, the lawsuits alone could make the company rich beyond its dreams, as soon as enough money can be diverted to lawyers. Throw in about 12 cents a share in old tax credits and you should see something give in the price eventually.
