Richard,

What you describe for the most part has been done in Excel. The template is called Option Wizard. He has several other products and has a service called N.O.W. which applies the use of the templates with real life stock/option plays. Very interesting!

Once you get the spreadsheet you can add our Net Cost Basis (NUT) freebee as a page. Also, they just added the "percent to double" calculator. The neat part about the Option Wizard is that it will calculate how many PUTs you would need to have full insurance coverage of your positions. Also, you can count down the days and see the time erosion ahead of time to better plan your moves. There is nothing worse than a CCer holding on to the old CC position when more money could be made moving on to the next round of CCs.

Just remember! Would you rather wait for a remaining 3/8s or pickup 1 1/8s points instead? The more you have in your pocket the more downside protection.
