First hands-on pictures of Samsung Ativ S shows it looks much better than the Samsung Galaxy S 3

Hi-tech.mail.ru have posted the first hands-on pictures of the Samsung ATIV S and took the opportunity to compare it with the Samsung Galaxy S 3, a handset with nearly identical specs.

The pictures shows the Ativ S is clearly a much better looking handset than the Galaxy S 3, from both the front and back.

The difference is shown particularly in the back of the device, but even from the front the device exudes a certain, dare I say iPhone 4S jewellery-like look which is missing from the cheap-looking Samsung Galaxy S 3. Even with the 4.8 inch screen it still seems to fit exceedingly well in the hand.

Hi-tech.mai.ru does reveal that the beautifully detailed back is in fact plastic instead of metal, in their prototype at least, but Samsung has clearly done a great job at hiding it.
