Take a look at the two graphics to get a better understanding of the current ridiculousness of the lawsuits currently taking place. In the end, what sticks out like a sore thumb is that Apple is taking everyone to court!
Some people do tend to view Apple in a jaundiced light, don't they?

The graphic makes it abundantly clear that a whole lot of companies are suing Apple, too. Note that the plaintiff's name comes first in the name of the suit. In a lot of cases, here, it's the other company filing the suit. In fact, the graphic shows exactly 3 "outgoing" lawsuits by Apple, which appears as the defendant in 9.

Apple does often countersue. But take a look at the arrows in that top graphic and you'll see that it doesn't always.

And of course I acknowledge that Apple sometimes brings suit itself. What I find a bit tedious is coverage which always places Apple in the role of the greatest wrong-doer, when a dispassionate reading of the evidence doesn't support that bias.
