LOL. So you're complaint is that Ryan's plans aren't specific enough. Obama is the king of lack of specificity. It's one of the chief complaints against him. He draws a broad vision and then expect his underlings to flesh out the bones. Some on this thread have even complained about that.

I actually think that is exactly what an Executive is supposed to do. They generally outline the broad sweep of things and the direction they'd like us to go in, as well as what the end state vision might look like. Then the subordinates sweat the details. So on that score, Ryan and Obama are alike and I applaud them both for acting like Executives.

For example, I can tell you that my vision for Social Security is that we privatize it. Well, there are a million ideas for how to accomplish that. But the vision is pretty clear.

Get a grip. You are again looking at the trees instead of the forest. The forest on the budget issue is that the Ryan plan bends the deficit curve farther and faster than the Obama plan.
