Eagles cut list: Kafka being one an(he lost to thew numbers game here are the others: Veteran defensive backs Joselio Hanson and O.J. Atogwe, former Pro Bowl punter Mat McBriar and defensive tackle Antonio Dixon were among 21 other players released.Hanson spent the last six seasons in Philadelphia and was the team's nickel cornerback. Atogwe signed as a free agent in the offseason, but couldn't crack the starting lineup at safety.

Wide receivers Chad Hall, Mardy Gilyard and Marvin McNutt and linebacker Keenan Clayton are other notables on the cut list.

Tight ends Brett Brackett and Chase Ford, defensive tackles Ollie Ogbu, Frank Trotter and Landon Cohen, fullback Emil Igwenagu, tackle D.J. Jones, linebackers Adrian Moten and Ryan Rau, defensive end Monte Taylor, safety Phillip Thomas and offensive linemen Steve Vallos and Brandon Washington also were released.

i think both Kafka and Antonio Dixon will be signed else where PRONTO.

i think also Hanson will be picked up by another team.

And about 5 will warrant the Eagles practice team if not signed elsewhere.Brackett/Frank Trotter/Igwenagu/Ryan Rau and Marty Gilyard.

Don't know about Chad Hall/Clayton and McNutt. Max

i am glas they kept BOTH Bryce Brown and Chris Polk)Bryce knows what he must do, iss learn blocking, something he was NEVER asked to do--being virtually a nonplayer for almost 3 years--he is being kept on Raw Potential this once ranked #1 HS running back with strange college career-flukey circumstances, nothing wrong with kid as a problem or having any notable injury--but he is really needs experience. Chris Polk is well ahead of Bryce Brown in terms of experience having been a "work horse" in on a Pac-10 team. Max
