"The Continuing Saga of What Jack Says In Light of The Real World" Interesting feature article in Monday's IBD on the Y2K company, Complete Business Solutions, Inc. They are targeting customers with revenues in the $500M to $4B range and the article says their phones are ringing off the hook from customers.Considering that their 3Q revenues increased 34% to $29.3 million and P.S. earnings were .25, up 175%,and their operating margins increased 90%, lets compare this to what Jack says:
!. When asked in recent conference call about ZITL Y2K revenue, Jack's response is: "None that will show up." 2. Why is this Jack? To which Jack replies, "Company executives don't fully realize that they have a Y2K problem and the Gartner Group over estimated the time frame as to when the business community would start addressing their promblem. 3. But Jack why is it that other companies are selling their Y2K products and their phones are ringing off the hook from customers? To which Jack replies, "Look you idiot, I'm trying to figure out where I can spend all of the money I just pocketed from my exercising and selling my options at $12.00+ while the poor fools that keep buying this stock think I did it to increase my shares of stock in this fantastic Y2K company. Finally, if you would shut-up and leave me alone and stop asking these inane questions, I will use some of my profits to hire the Maytag service guy to answer our phones. He should fit right into our operation and I might just put his desk and telephone in our mobile factory plant. Currently we have some extra space there. Now! Are you satisfied you idiot. Oh! By the way, would you be interested in buying some stock in ZITL, I've got some more options to excercise soon and my CPA says my tax bracket should be about 90%, on those so I will have a lot of stock to sell. |
