Slaves: I was sort of trying to post a Buddhist idea of awareness, about what slavery really was. We talk about it all the time, but I don't think we really think about it in its full manifestations. What I would hope for, is every time someone tells us how superior Jefferson and Washington's ideas are compared to hippies (kidding), modern ideas, I want them to remember Washington and Jefferson bought and sold PEOPLE AS SLAVES, matter of factly.
