Yousef as well as Paul has pointed out that AMD's process requires a higher voltage to get the K6 to run at 233mhz, compared to their own 166 & 200mhz K6's as well as Intel's processors. I thought it was obvious that higher voltage meant more power, meaning more heat. Sorry for overlooking the technically challenged. EP
