All the assets of the UK subsidiary are spoken for, so to speak. It can borrow zero pounds, euros or dollars. It will continue to operate normally. In this case normally means as it has done in the past, i.e. negligibly and to no measurable effect whatsoever. It can continue to look for and fail to find partners, it can have any number of ideas in the works, and it can do all sorts of other things that won't amount to a hill of beans. Only in message board gagaland is the UK subsidiary a saving grace and hidden gem.
