Yes, yes, yes, you are right in Manuel not loading the bases with Jones at the plate! I was thinking that at the time, too. A single ties the game but put him on base and take your chances with the next guy....Chipper is mister clutch and he came through for the braves. Fransden did indeed blow it and that was an error, no question.

Of course, Paplebon wasn't exactly on HIS game either. A wasted performance by the ever awesome Hamels. A shame he didn't get the win. I never thought we would lose this one. Nine innings proved to be too long of a game for the Phillies this time.
