JTM: PB does not consider PE, at all. Pure CANSLIM does, however. And the vote of confidence in future earnings growth by a trailing PE that is as high as QCOM is like icing on the cake.

BTW, PE on estimates is under 30. I can't say that I have seen a trailing PE on a PB as high as QCOM's, however.

I prefer low trailing and high growth in my PB candidates because I think it indicates a less obvious stock to the IBD hounds. MIND and ORBKF were around 15 when they broke out as PB longs. However, if a good one like QCOM shows up, and it's also a great CANSLIM'er at a potential turning point in the market, I'll bite.
