I never put my passwords in there, although the searching I did say its safe. I use it to test passwords, just for fun, and the combinations I choose afterwards would make it impossible to decode.
Put in a common password say, 12345678, yes that is in the top 10 most common passwords: See: 25 most-used passwords revealed: zdnet.com
So I entered it in that site 12345678:

Okay, lets do this1!2@3#4$5%6^7&8* (1 then shift 1 then 2 then shift 2, 3, then shift 3 and so on till you get to 8.
Results: It would take a desktop PC about 184 thousand years to crack your password
Use that site to see what combinations to use, then pick your own combination. Don't rely on sites to pick them for you. It was posted as an awareness tool about poor passwords people use.
And a password alone is not helpful if you don't have the user name most sites use a well, as second level of protection.
Here is one of my passwords: 2b!3r8ot2@5^T) and I exposed? Do you know what that is for? A program, a website, etc. Do you have my username? Do the HUNDREDS of sites I use going to be at risk cause one password is exposed? Nope.
