It's about whether or not there is the market out there that NOK requires to make their plans work... Success breeds success, that's why it so hard to dent the Samsung-Apple duopoly. Is there enough oxygen for a 3rd major brand? A vastly superior camera gives them a foothold... it's the most important thing to a subset of buyers. Carriers preference for W8 gives them another plus. Good popular feature phones gives them an existing customer base to market to. Can they execute on the basics of bringing good products to market on a timely basis? Don't know. But I don't think they're going bust. They'll either be successful or limp along and be bought out.
