One of the things that puzzles me is that Romney took the weekend after his convention as a vacation, basically. I would have assumed they would do lots of campaign events to try to build on it. I suspect there is an argument for taking this week off, given the Dems monopoly of television. But that looks to me to be sloppy thinking. Try to steal some of that television time. The networks will give him time as a tribute to the neutrality gods. Just doesn't make sense.
