If anyone hasn't read George Gilder's Life after Television I would encourage you to do so. The book is a great read for those that love technology.

Thanks very much for the book idea, as I'm always on the lookout for good references. I will check it out. Another book oriented towards the future of technology and its implications for commerce is The Digital Economy by Don Tapscott. The author expounds on a number of Internet-only-related concepts and how they will radically modify the status quo and will greatly challenge those who attempt to maintain or build models based on the status quo. I highly recommend it.
