Downers? Well, imaging is still in its infancy. The camera on one Lumia was completely borked, and showed duff images on another. But the potential is there.
Oops.

In all the excitement about the f/2 lens, nobody seems to be pointing out that's only 1/2 a stop faster than the Nokia 808 PureView's f/2.4 lens.

Half a stop. Negligible. I routinely over-ride the Nokia 808 PureView toward the underexposure side, by 1/3 stop.

Total wash, compared to the difference in the sensor size between the two cameras, and the number of megapixels.

If Nokia had baked that 41MP sensor into the new W8 Lumia, with their brand new, brilliant antishake?

WOW!!!

They didn't. :-(((
