I don't think they can, unless Nokia plans to scale down 920 production and risk of using a thick body. Pureview 808 is not designed for the mass, it is for the photo enthusiastic. As I said, the 920 and 808 are two different "classes" of phone "camera" - "RX100 vs WX50". But anyone who love photography will love to see Nokia Lumia to function as RX100 with a WX50 body.

For iphone 5, perhaps they can use accelerometer-based IS (similar to E.I.S on steroid). A cool hi-tech term is all Apple needs, iphone success rides a lot on Apple's fine implementation and brand recognition. What Microsoft needs is a new brand because by default anything M$ is sucks, every M$ is/was monopoly. Even though M$ has changed a lot recently.

I don't think Nokia will provide any more information until iphone 5 announcement. It may look like a stupid move but that will give them better chance to success in the market - I mean the consumer market, not the stock market ;-)

I actually mentioned about 2-3 stops advantage, mostly due to impact of O.I.S. Underexpose is difference thing, it means to compensate metering inaccuracy. Improper use of underexpose will increase noise.

btw, good point on trading volume, I agree with your opinion about NOK stock performance.
