My 2020 foresight climate prediction is that winter then will be cold, trending to Little Ice Age proportions, with a possible risk of an outright plunge back to reglaciation as per the ice age. Not just that winter but subsequent ones too.

It's a bit of a speculative prediction because it's based on the idea that the sunspot super cycle is heading into a big trough and there is reasonable argument that solar output is not such a big deal, especially in the visible spectrum. I'm unconvinced by the "business as usual with Global Warming" argument, especially since the "business as usual" argument hasn't been going too well this century with their Alarmist models failing to match reality and failing to match reality is the test of scientific theories. If the theory doesn't match reality, the theory is bung.

It's not just the sunspot super cycle which leads me to that conclusion. It's also the 10,000 years since the last glaciation. It's the failure to warm per CO2 theory. It's the fact that Gaia has been stripping carbon from the ecosphere and continues to do it. The trend is not our friend. It's the extensive deserts with increased reflection of incoming light. It's also convenient because people like to say "That's just 2020 hindsight" even though I make the predictions BEFORE the event, such my no WMDs prediction before the Iraq invasion and conquest [conveniently recorded in SI as evidence].

Since the European and North American glaciation involves important regions, it's not just an academic question of minor consequence. It would be catastrophic in property destruction and hundreds of millions of people would be displaced.

My theory was from 2008. I note that subsequently, actual experts have started agreeing with my sun-spot prediction for next year's peak, and they are even suggesting 2020 coldness too. But I was first!
