Nokia should have announced price, availability, carriers, countries, etc.., all at the same time. The introduction looks very amateurish on the financial column. And it means they are not even close to being available. 4th quarter could mean Oct, Nov or Dec. If Elop had put a date in Oct that would have been well received by the street and also would have lit a fire on the Microsoft and Nokia engineers to get it done. The way it is, it could be even after Oct 26th, the Windows 8 introduction. And that's why the stock PPS shed 20% since the announcement. The street does not like uncertainty. And Elop should have known that.
