Actually this is very common in the industry. It's all in the hands of the Ad producer. Some Sony ad you saw maybe taken with a Nikon, Nikon ad taken with a Canon... but the effect on Nokia's promo video is so drastic that I pointed out that it is fake immediately. Nokia really needs a new marketing department. When a product sucks and it fails in the market, you blame the development/QA team. When a product is great but it still fails in the market, you blame the marketing department. Both Microsoft and Nokia have poor marketing, something they must learn from Apple.

Nokia official channel posted a real life demonstration of O.I.S. but they didn't disclose which camera is on the left. Was that two 920 side by side, or a competitor's phone? No idea, but I actually like the contrast option of the left other than the O.I.S effect.
