Hillary biggest liability in '08 was that she had Mark Penn as her campaign adviser, and they ignored the caucuses and small states and the rules about proportional voting that had been set up for the primary. That was what allowed Obama to get a big lead and the "momentum" that carried him to victory. She ignored the basic arithmetic, as Bill might say.
