Personally, I always start with the premise that the market is absolutely, totally manipulated by those who have the means and money to do so.
  Common sense, methinks.
  So - NOK for example -  given this assumption of mine, l looked at the stock action in the days preceding yesterday's news  and came to the conclusion there was no "buy the rumor sell the news" situation happening, as it should have been, IF the news was NEWS.
  It wasn't news.  It was pre-news, maybe news, something kinda coming soon, killing all existing Nokia products that came before it, in the meantime.
  The chart was speaking about that.  Vehemently.
  Manipulated?  
  Probably.
  Still, it spoke loud and clear.
  Still is speaking, actually: bounced off today's low tail down bottom as expected, but I ain't buying that fakeout.
  Not until I see the numbers on Oct. 18. |
