Hmmm.

Your "half an inch" thickness compared to their "1 centimeter" in thickness ?

A centimeter is .39 of an inch... so, perhaps a difference of a tenth of an inch "in play"... ?

Something in the OS that makes the chips burn hot ? A CPU issue not a GPU issue ?

If the 41MP GPU runs cool in a comparable size package... and the 920 has LESS of a chip... ?

I guess I'd want to see that stats on the power density and consumption of the various GPUs...

If they're not "hiding" something with a "not yet ready" chip for the GPU... using hot subs in the demo versions ?

That leaves that they've "mis-engineered" the energy density, or otherwise failed in managing the heat... ?

Who's making the GPUs for these things, anyway ?
