You're welcome to believe it or not, but the actual facts are:

1. His research has been around since the 1930s & 1940s, and his work went back thousands of years.
2. We're in a warm/dry Wheeler cycle, per the chart I posted. The 4 cycles he identified, as noted on my chart, last 17-31 years if memory serves, and the current warm/dry one started around 1996.
3. The next cycle is cold/wet

In other words Professor Wheeler, per his cycle work from 70+ years ago, projects weather to be cold (aka, in a cold cycle) around 2015-25. He also projected the current record high temperatures as you noted.

You're welcome to do more complete research about the actual cycles and lengths... or not. If you do, you will also see his sociological type work and tie ins to things like cyber space... and also tie ins to wars, dictators and much more.

Here's the similar record of drought, and also showing the Wheeler cycles.
