Well, it's easy to see who will be right - he says record highs, I say record lows. They won't both be right. Except that I said it for 2008, 2009 and 2010 and also for 2020. 3 out of 4 right so far. The biggie to go.

I can't see much similarity in the arguments.

We are not in the midst of record high temperatures. It is just high compared with the Little Ice Age. It's not high compared with circa 1200.
