That's ancient history now. What numbers are they looking at under the Obama adminstration today?

Unemployment over 8% for months, the doubling of the number of long-term unemployed from January 2009 (2.6 million people unemployed for more than 6 months) to June 2012 (5.3 million)? The increasing number of people who, as unemployment benefits finally expire, apply for Social Security disability benefits - and thus are not counted among the unemployed?

Then there's new college graduates - their employment rate is improving somewhat - 10.4 percent in 2010 and 9.4 percent over the last year- but underemployment not so much - 19.8 percent in 2010 and 19.1 percent over the last year. Working at Starbucks, while better than nothing, isn't going to pay off those college loans.

And, of course, what are MY job prospects? That's the most important number.
