Very interesting.

I am seconding Rick Santelli's prediction [MARK THIS POST FOR LATER]: The unemployment rate, measured by the incredibly dishonest headline number, will be 7.9% on Friday, November 2, 2012, the last time it is released before the election.

Dems will declare victory over unemployment. Book it.

Naturally Joe 'n Betty Six Pack and Jose 'n MariaLopez and Darrell 'n KineshaWashington have zero clue that U6 even exists. Their collective eyes will glaze over if you even mention the term "labor participation rate." I hope they'll recognize that their circumstances are terrible and have absolutely not improved since The Great One was elected. Fool them once, OK, but he might not be able to fool them twice.

As Klein pointed out in his incredibly incisive book, The Amateur, O! is an amateur. He knows nothing about economics, is not trained in it, has never done anything which engaged any economic issues until he was elected Prez and is otherwise incompetent to deal with the magnitude of the issues facing us......

Romney is no Ron Paul when it comes to macroeconomics but he does have Paul Ryan, who does get it.
