ADP is payrolls processor. We used them. They expanded to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other accounting areas, including 401k and other Retirement Plans accounting.

They process about 1/6 of the payrolls. So they don't see the other 5/6. Their customers are apparently hiring at a faster clip than the 5/6 is. That's all I read into the discrepancy.

Frank Lautenberg was one of the founders of Automatic Data Processing, I thought. But Wikipedia says he was the first salesman and became the Chairman and CEO.

After making a lot of money and not being ready to retire from ADP, he ran for Senator from New Jersey. He retired, but after Corzine resigned, he became NJ Senator again, and now at 88 he is the oldest.
