So any attempt to label Romney a "fascist" just escapes me. If someone wants to work with the label, fine; it's just not my conversation.
Calling Romney a fascist is just as meaningful, and just as reasonable, as calling Obama a socialist. Which is to say, not at all.

One thing Romney does have, in terms of personality traits, is that he places a high value on conformity. He has much in common with most Mormons in this regard. Conformity is certainly one of the hallmarks of fascism, but the epithet is still undeserved, in my opinion.
