That's misleading because key states show Obama marginally ahead in the RCP average when in fact more recent polling doesn't support that.

OH -- OBama ahead by 0.7% but the most recent two polls have it tied then Romney ahead by 3.

FL - Obama ahead by 0.6%, but the most recent poll has Romney ahead by 1 and the liberal PPP poll before had Obama ahead by 1. Both were before Obama screwed up on the Platform by leaving Jews out.

VA - Obama ahead by 0.6% but last poll had them tied and the one that before that was a liberal PPP poll that gave him the 0.6% lead. Romney may well be ahead in VA today.

All three of these states are shown as Obama states in the "no tossup map" -- but moving the votes for these three states puts Romney within 4 of winning it, meaning ANY OTHER STATE would put him over and there are several within striking distance.

The other side of it is that Romney has more money and frankly, still has room to run. Obama has used every dirty trick in the book and that could well play out shortly.
