So where do we think the SSL B warrants will trade when they open for the first time on Monday? Alas, I usually don't get proper depth for TSXV warrants with the TDW package I have. VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2012) - Sandstorm Gold Ltd. ( SSL.V)( SAND)( SAND) ("Sandstorm" or the "Company") has completed its previously announced bought deal financing, including the full amount of the over-allotment option, for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately Cdn $150 million. A syndicate of underwriters purchased an aggregate of 15,007,500 units of Sandstorm at a purchase price of Cdn $10.00 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share of Sandstorm and one third of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole common share purchase warrant entitles the holder to acquire one common share of Sandstorm at a price of US$14.00 at any time prior to September 7, 2017. Usually you can get bargains on the first day warrants trade because people dump them, but I wonder this time... I am certain SSL common will far exceed that strike price well before 2017. I will understand if anyone wants to keep their guesses to themselves, but maybe with 5M+ outstanding there will be enough to go around, particularly if some of the participants in the financing are based outside of Canada. "Dump those weird things ASAP!" Me, I have no idea as yet where they will initially trade but I will keep thinking on it. Due to the 1/3 warrant per unit there may be cheap odd lots out there. LC
