Inflation or deflation ?
The Federal Reserve has completed some statistical studies of how
the stock market acts in low inflation. Their conclusion is that the stock market can rise to very high levels as capital tries to find a
home. One can say that the market has done just that. They also say
that sooner or later the stock market will drop due to either too
much inflation or too much deflation. Bonds will do well under defaltion, but very poor under inflation. Since the Feds keep trying
to balance, it is just a guessing game on "inflation" or "defaltion"
will be the winner so to speak. Now if I was selling bonds, then I would say "deflation" and buy bonds from me so I can get the commission. Now if I was selling commodities, the I would say
"inflation" and buy gold, silver, copper,etc....I do not think
even the Federal Reserve knows the answer to the question....And
how this will effect TXN and MU is another sorry......Right now
I can tell you that the monthly and weekly trends of TXN and MU are
down..........But Monday is a start of a new month and week....
......so why not just let TXN and MU tell us, rather then getting
mixed up trying to guess the future.....Hope that helps ?
