Ryan noted that the issue “is something that is not a high priority of ours.” A Ryan spokesman later emphasized that he agrees with Mitt Romney that marijuana should never be legalized.

He is right - we have more important priorities. It seems that this issue is turning into agitprop against Ryan. Without getting into discussing the issue itself..... He never argued in favor of legalization of marijuana. All he said was that allowing medical marijuana should be up to the states.

Which happens to be a very healthy sentiment -- the federal government has a habit sticking its nose and its hands into far, far too many issues. Washington politicians should try fighting this addiction of theirs.
