I honestly think that your position has some merit and is true for many of these plays. However I do not agree with you that this one fits the mold. I say this because of my discussions with geologists regarding the coal bed methane prospect from a scientific point of view. Even flat out promotors who play the games you are accurately describing as the m.o. of many of these small vse juniors can end up with a real deal by luck, accident or by actual skill. I suspect the geologists here have brought a real deal into this play, and I also believe the majors are really interested and that Sinclair is real and will do real things with this one. But only time will tell which of us is correct. You were smart to sell over a dollar. Even in real plays, delays are extremely common and so you played it right. I did the same thing but still have alot. I am actually not an insider. I do however do alot of research when I invest and I do that not only on SIR but on the other juniors I own and trade. I believe this is a buy here and so are alot of other small ones right now. The one point you make which I wholeheartedly agree with is that the junior market is very frequently played exactly as you describe. That is why you must buy low as for example now, sell high as for example when we had a double or a triple before anything concrete had even happened and then do it again. In this case I believe the first hole was very promising and yet not sufficient to land a partner. That is why I think they need to do another or several more. It could be you are right but I do not think so (but I mean it when I say you might be right and everyone should factor this possibility into their strategy). For many reasons, but mainly because of the nature of coal bed methane fields, I think they are onto to something both big and real. We will see..that is why it is called speculation. Skepticism is good! Being naive is bad. That is why all points of view are extremely valuable and appreciated by anyone with brains. The internet holds the potential to destroy the monopoly on Command and Control which is how power has been held and gained by the few in the know for so long until now. Fascinating stuff.
