>>Fun part of this game is that it will drive out the nervous nellies out of IOM and hopefully give a false confidence to the Shorts and even bring more shorts into IOM. <<

This is the last thing that an Iomaniac wants. This same situation existed at the beginning of this year, and IOM stock was buried. The shorts piled on and drove the stock down...down...down to 14. All the while, the Iomaniacs threw ridiculous claims of "short squeeze" out to the wind. It never materialized, and instead we had a thread full of grumbling, insulting, unhappy investors. One must remember thet IOM is not IOMG. Different stock markets. Different times in the company's life. The short squeeze that drove up IOMG occured because of the climate in the NASDAQ exchange, and because fewer people had heard of Iomega. The cat is out of the bag now, and it looks like Iomega's best times could be coming to a close. We have the Sony HiFi drive coming out. Clique has been delayed...delayed...and delayed yet again. Second half of 1988? Try 1999. Maybe. And SparQ is about to put a serious hurt on Jaz. As soon as the SCSI version of SparQ is available in Jan/Feb, I'm there.

BTW, the Barron's article said that in addition to its 200MB capacity, it is also faster than Zip. Is this true?
