Jeff,

Your insights on this thread are very valuable. Just want to know what you think on the following.

I talked to a mainframe Project Manager and was told that the rate for the Y2K programmers will double in 1998 and will double again in 1999 because there is a huge shortage of the mainframe guys (especially COBOL). What do you think about this.

If the above is true, the tools company like ALYD, PTUS can raise the price for fixing each LOC, so revenue/earning for these companies will increase. Is this correct.
