I still think Samsung is not going to let Nokia walk away with the W8 winnings. In the US, a customer being confronted with a W8 phone that's a clone of the top of the line Samsung Android is going to be more tempted to go that tried and true route, than the - now to most US customers - "new" unknown and untried Nokia vendor. Donno about the rest of the world. Shall see...
