I got into a discussion on Facebook last night about the strike, and a ton of teachers jumped into it. Boy, were they pissed at me.

One, whom I had known since college, said the following:

"And thank God for teachers' unions. I'm so glad that I ended my career with a decent retirement. And I owe it entirely to Little Rock Classroom Teachers' Association."

Really? She owes it to *$&#* union? The taxpayers have nothing at all to do with it?

I'm sorry, I just don't get it.
