I agree in principle with your points but I am not convinced that fundamental issues drive the stock except in the very long term ( I am a long term investor and a short term gambler in Ligand). We probably have better research on this thread than 90 percent of the other threads. What causes the wild swings in the price of Ligand stock? Is the float price dominated by short term traders? Is this a typical pattern for development stage companies or development stage bioteck companies? Will this wild swing fade to a straight line if the stock moves from 30 to 130?
