perhaps the most striking thing about the poll results is that Romney was better liked by Americans before* the conventions* Actually, that isn't striking at all. Even in the primaries, Romney's favorability ratings went down in states as he spent more time there. To paraphrase a cliche, "To know him is to not like him." The guy just has the opposite of charisma, whatever that is called. The "uncharismatic" guy. Or something like that. I'm sure da Rat can come up with something better.
