You might want to check out the intervue with Tom Jermoluk CEO of @home.He claims they will be accelerating the rollout well into the hundred thousands next year. I would guess in total (all providers)about 1 million -1.5 million cable modems will be sold next year ,but everybody and his brother is going to be making cable modems so margins may be low.Coms will benefit more from the network upgrades and sales of their high end products where margins may remain intact. multichannel.com
