Not only Russia Canada holding on to 9.5 million km2. Australia to 7.7 million km2 Top issues this 21st century: Population and resources. China had a big army contingent along Russian border. Disbanded after Cold War ended they sarted farming and transformed the land in desert. It can be that the same farmers are now in Russia. To avoid limits to grow China will engage countries that can help avoid its limitation. Food is a big limitation. In northeastern China, more than 100 million people are living in the three provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning. In the neighboring Far Eastern Federal District of Russia, only 6.3 million people are residing there, despite the district being seven times larger than the three Chinese provinces. Canada 9.5, million km2 Australia, 7.7 million km2 have 30 million people each!!
