RE: Places to Eat in Arlington **OFF TOPIC**
>> I hope that was your last meal at the Outback Steakhouse <G> <<
Actually, that's my favorite restaurant. I eat there about once or twice a week. (That's down from about three times a week several months ago!) I love the seasoning on their steaks. Did you have a bad experience there? Out of about 200 dinners at about a dozen different Outbacks over the last couple years, about 95% of them have been wonderful. The times that I've had problems (occasionally the steak is tough, dry, or overcooked) they've been quick to make it right. It's not the best steakhouse (close though from what I've seen), but it is the best value that I've found. Any others you would recommend?
>> There are some really good places to eat in Arlington:
Chuy's and Zuzu's (Mexican),
Unfortunately, Mexican doesn't agree with me. I eat it occasionally (and love it), but am pretty miserable afterwards.
Pappasito's (Cajun)
Been there, done that. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but was sick that night. I don't think the frog legs were done. I'm sure I'll be back, though.
Have you been to The Firehouse in Dallas?
Tandoor and Sushmi (Indian),
I've only had Indian once, but enjoyed it. I'll have to check it out.
Taste of Thai (behind the GM plant on Loop 360). <<
I love Thai! I'll definitely be checking this one out.
