Dale, Thanks for posting the "Competition". I believe you analyse is correct as well.

I would like to know if anyone has ever seen a Sony 200mb prototype or is it strictly vaporware? I reread the Barrons article and Mr. Savitz doe not say that Sony had the drive at Comdex. He merely decribes the specifications.

I didn't make it to Comdex this year. Wish I had. I'll make the Chigago show in the spring for sure.
